Recipe 8: Apple Pie Mini Tarts


I used this recipe. Overall easy other than some of the wonton's ended up with edges falling down during baking.


I enjoyed them with some Bourbon Brown Sugar ice cream instead of whipped cream.



My bro had them with pumpkin spice whipped cream.

Recipe 7: Copycat Olive Garden Breadsticks


This recipe didn't really turn out as expected, but they still tasted good. It was mainly too dry and I guess it partly comes down to not using a dough hook mixer to end up with smooth dough. Our grocery store has also been out of garlic salt for over a week, so I just added a half teaspoon of salt and a half teaspoon of garlic powder to the melted butter instead of sprinkling garlic salt on top.

Recipe 6: Ranch Cream Cheese & Tomato Rollup


I used the leftover ranch cream cheese from making Ranch Cucumber Bites to make a roll-up with some tomatoes on a tortilla.

I used this recipe. Overall easy and tasty. Definitely should've gone with piping it on, though, as it slides right off when trying to spread on the cucumber. Also, cherry tomatoes are not fun to try to slice in half...

Recipe 4: 5-Ingredient Lemon and Dill Ranch Dressing


This recipe is somewhat misleading in that it has 7 ingredients, but it is still simple and was almost 5 since I actually skipped the shallot. As our grocery store doesn't carry Yoplait lemon, I used Chobani Lemon & Cream instead. I also only used 1/2 a teaspoon of salt and probably less than half of the pepper (only had some in a grinder and didn't measure as I added). It worked out great in the bullet blender.

It did end up seeming too vinegary. This may be due to the Chobani is only 5.3oz instead of the Yoplait 6oz. I will probably try this recipe again using less vinegar.

Recipe 3: Banana Pancake Dippers



I used the recipe here. They tasted good, but didn't really come out that great. Probably should've made the batter thicker using less than the recommended amount of water on the package instructions.


For my bro, I topped them with chocolate syrup and whipped cream.

Recipe 1: Egg Crescent Squares


I made a variation of this Bacon and Egg Crescent Squares recipe. Mainly, I skipped the bacon. Since I was just going with what we had and we only 3 eggs, I made them half size to end up with 3 squares and two cheesy crescent rolls using one crescent roll can. Also, instead of using fresh parsley or basil, I used dill and oregano seasonings.


Overall they made a tasty breakfast. It was difficult to get the eggs to stay in the crescent square, but I think it's just because I made them half size. I even had fixed it the one that fell out and it was fine when I closed the oven door, but it still escaped again while cooking.
